  I hope the product is better than the service. The week of 9/10/17, I ordered through the Lowe's website, the dual powered solar roof vent brokered by LL building products. Only after a follow-up call to learn shipping status, was a projected arrival of Friday 9/22 given to Lowe's by LL Building products. Since I was out the following week, I scheduled the roofers back the week of 10/1. The vents however, hadn't arrived at Lowes during my absence. After another call to Lowe's, and my Lowe's rep on hold for THIRTY NINE MINUTES by LL Building products, did she learn that there had been a price discrepancy so the units simply had not shipped. How Lowe's was supposed to know this without a call from LL Building Products is beyond me as I'm pretty sure my Lowe's rep is not clairvoyant. I'm told now, 10/04/17, the units will ship and my Lowe's rep and store manager will follow up to be sure this time. Meanwhile I'm left hoping I can reschedule the roofers before December. Frankly, it appears to me, i.e. my opinion is, GAF has a hold or some ownership of LL Building products and dislikes the product being purchased through discounters/mass retailers. If indeed that is the case, they should refuse to sell any discounter and keep the sales chain in house because my consumer experience with LL Building products rates 1 star and borders on pathetic.
